Sailfest Fireworks

July 2007

Every summer, a Grucci World Class fireworks production comes to life over the Thames River in Connecticut in conjunction with Sailfest. It is one of the largest and longest fireworks displays in the country so I took 2007 as an opportunity to tape it from one of the best viewing areas. With the exception of the intro sequence, everything else is one long continuous shot.

Beneath all the background noise, you may be able to hear the music selection that was mixed to the fireworks. Here is the track listing:

"Dinner is Served" from Pirates of the Carribean
"Flying" from Peter Pan soundtrack
"Armed Services Medley" by the St. Louis Orchestra
"Rich Girl" by Gwen Stefani and Eve
"These Are My People" by Rodney Atkins
"Proud" by Heather Small
"Home" by Chris Daughtry
"Sway" by Michael Buble
"Your Smiling Face" by James Taylor
"Do You Know" by Enrique Iglesias
"Fergalicious" by Fergie
"Strawberry Fields Love Montage" by the Beatles
"River Deep Mountain High" by Celine Dion
"If I Could Reach Your Heart" from "Ka" (Cirque de Soliel)
"Battle Part 2" from "Ka" (Cirque de Soliel)
